your Network card has label which
is called an OUI (Organizationally
Unique Identifier) as below example.

Then
you need the first six characters,
which in the example is
00104B and is pictured
below. |

Next,
type first 6 characters
in the OUI from your Network adapter
in the form below and click Start
Search, the form will return the
manufacturer from a search of
the OUI database maintained and
administrated by
IEEE
Standards.

OUI Number
Enter the OUI ID located
on your adapter
to obtain company
information. The
first 6 characters
are the OUI code. |

can also use the FCC
ID Search
to locate your manufacturer.

Lastly
you can try a generic network
driver for your operating system.
The best generic driver to try
is the "NE2000 Compatible"
driver which is available under
the company "Novell/Anthem"
in Windows 95/98/NT. |
